HOW IT WORKS?

The Finger Pivot Orthosis applies constant force on the palmar side of the middle phalanx, gently pulling it outward using elastic bands. This steady tension promotes palmar tissue growth, allowing the finger to gradually extend.

Designed as a more comfortable and effective alternative to traditional LMB splint.

First, it is very comfortable for long-term use. By supporting the middle and distal phalanges with a flexible plastic, it distributes load forces evenly, helping to prevent pressure sores. The dorsal side of the middle phalanx is also extended and padded for additional comfort. These supports provide patients with a well-fitting extension splint they can wear longer, helping them achieve results more quickly.

Second, the Finger Pivot allows force to be easily increased or decreased as needed by adjusting the elastic bands. This flexibility contributes to both comfort and faster progress.

Lastly, many users appreciate that the device is not only comfortable but also compact, lightweight, and easy to take on and off in seconds.
